iOS Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This App Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared by H2 Software Limited ("H2 Software Limited", "H2 Software", or "we") when you download and use the Receipts app (the "App"), and purchase any in-app purchases associated with the App.

1.2 In line with UK privacy regulations for limited companies, we are registered with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office under the UK Data Protection Act. Our reference number is ZA455465.

1.3 This privacy policy does not apply to the H2 Software website. A different policy for the H2 Software website is in force and can be accessed here.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION

2.1 The App can only be downloaded through the Apple Appstore. Your privacy at the Apple Appstore is governed by Apple's privacy policy, which can be accessed at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy.

2.2 The App does not collect personal information for use by H2 Software. H2 Software receives analytics from Apple in the form of aggregated usage and sales reports. It is not possible to identify individual users from these reports.

2.3 In the Privacy settings of your device, it is possible for users to turn on the setting Share With App Developers. For users who turn on this setting, Apple will collect crash data as well as statistics how you use our App. This data is collected anonymously and shared with H2 Software. It is not possible to identify individual users from this data.

2.4 The App uses Apple CloudKit to sync data between your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad). Your data is stored in a private database on Apple's servers, which is encrypted with an account-based key. We do not have access to any data stored in your iCloud account. We also do not have access to your Apple ID, only a random unique ID that is associated with just your app. It is not possible to track your identity between apps with this ID.

2.5 Intentionally omitted.

3. USE OF INFORMATION

3.1 We use the information that we collect generally to:

  1. Monitor usage patterns of the App over time, including, but not limited to, usage by region and by device

  2. Detect and act upon anomalous usage

  3. Monitor sales and sales-related data from in-app purchases

  4. Identify opportunities to improve features of the App

  5. Help screen for potential risk and fraud

4. SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION

4.1 We do not share your Personal Information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing.

4.2 We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. In any scenario, we will satisfy ourselves that we have a lawful basis on which to share the information and document our decision making and satisfy ourselves we have a legal basis on which to share the information.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

5.1 If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

5.2 Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

6. MINORS

6.1 The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.

7. CHANGES

7.1 We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
